Paper Abstract:      The reuse of learning situations aims to improve the learner’s satisfaction level and to reach better results at the end of the learning session. It’s a question of how to manage the reuse of a succeeded learning situation in order to be adapted to the learner’s profile. PELSYS, acronym of Personalized E-Learning SYStem, is interested in the Case-Based Reasoning mechanism (CBR) in order to introduce the concept of learning situations’ reuse. In this paper, we rethink the two first steps concerning the situation modeling and the most similar situation research supported by PELSYS. We aim to migrate the vector representation of a learning situation to an ontological one and to propose an efficient approach, which is based on the integration of the ontological reasoning in the CBR mechanism, for calculating the similarity between situations
